NLP School - Terms and Conditions

Bookings and Confirmation

• Delegates will receive an email to confirm their booking together with joining instructions shortly after their place has been reserved. This will be followed by written details nearer to the course date.
• Please contact the Events Team on tel +44(0) 207 428 7915 if you do not receive joining instructions.
• Payment must be received at least 10 days in advance of the course. If you are having difficulties meeting the payment date, please contact us in advance.
• Instalment plans can be arranged.
• Certificates for Practitioner Training will not be issused until the full invoice amount has been settled as agreed.
• Delegate places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Making a reservation does not guarantee a place until payment has been made.

Attendance

• Please note that in order to gain certification, delegates must attend the full course, i.e. three days for NLP Essential Skills, 19 days for Practitioner training, 14 days for Master Practitioner, etc. However, we do recognise that exceptional circumstances may occur, in which case please contact either the trainer or a member of the resource team with as much notice as possible. If you know of potential absences when booking your place, please talk these through with the events team on tel +44(0) 207 428 7915.

Standard of behaviour

• NLP School reserves the right to remove any delegate from its training programme should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate by the trainer. This would result in no refund of course fees or other costs being given.

Cancellation by you

• We understand that circumstances may arise which require cancellation.
• Notice of cancellation, transfer or substitution must be notified in writing or by e-mail (to info@nlpschool.com). If you telephone to cancel you will be asked to send an email to confirm. NLP School is not responsible for any error in the delivery of this information.
• Cancellation received with 14-28 days notice: defaults 50% of the course fee
• Cancellation received with 7-13 days notice: defaults 75% of the course fee
• Cancellation received with 0 - 6 days notice: defaults 100% of the course fee
• Customers substituting a registered delegate from the same organisation may do so up to the commencement of the course without penalty. NLP School must be notified of the change. One transfer is permitted per booking.

Cancellation by NLP School

• In the unlikely event that a training is cancelled, NLP School will refund your fee in full but will not be responsible for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including transportation, lodging, and meal costs.
• In the event of public transport strikes, our courses go ahead as planned.

Changes to the programme and cancellation

• We reserve the right to change the programme, the speaker, the trainer or the location for an event, or to reschedule an event. Delegates will be advised of these changes as soon as possible.
• When notified of changes delegates may either withdraw, with no liability for fees, or transfer to another course of equal value.
• If there are insufficient delegate bookings, we reserve the right to cancel the event with at least 14 days notice. Delegates are therefore advised not to book travel arrangements more than 14 days in advance.

The Purpose of the Training

These trainings are not a substitute for psychotherapy or counselling. While most people do experience major shifts and
breakthroughs during their learning experience, the courses are designed to primarily to teach NLP skills.

The training provides the opportunity for such deep insights that emotions can be triggered. For the sake of your own safety as well as other participants, we ask you to be aware of your own emotional state and speak to the trainer or support staff should a significant emotional issue arise. If you have any diagnosed psychological conditions or are taking medication for such problems, please let us know when booking.

The training is structured to gradually build skills towards being able to apply some of the extremely powerful techniques that NLP has to offer. You will be receiving coaching from fellow students, who generally are not therapeutically qualified and unresolved issues may surface. It is therefore necessary to enter the training as learning environment with a by-product of receiving some therapeutic benefits when playing "client". Given that these sessions are likely to be the first time your "coach" has tried these techniques, it would not be appropriate for you to attend the training if you are going through a period of very significant emotional trauma. NLP School reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the training if there is due cause. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
