Where is NLP Used?

Where is NLP Used?
Whoever you are and whatever you do, NLP can to help you do it more effectively. NLP is used in many fields, including business, sports, art, health, marketing, education and politics, in fact, anywhere that involves human endeavour.

More and more organisations are recognising the added value that NLP brings to a variety of business activities. Whether the goal is increased sales, improved customer or staff relationships or better communication (internal and external), NLP has practical, tested tools to get there.

NLP has found its way discretely into many training courses on business, management, sales, presentations, planning and team building, (often without being credited by name.)

NLP is an ideal tool to either enhance or change your career.

In personal development, NLP is an ideal way to address a personal issue, or build strengths in both familiar and unfamiliar areas. It offers a cognitive framework, a supportive environment and practical tools that can help you in many ways. NLP allows people to examine unhelpful behaviours and provides processes that deliver lasting change and improve relationships. NLP has tools to manage the effect of distressing memories and mental images. You'll also learn how to help others achieve these goals.

In the expanding field of coaching, many coaching training programmes borrow from NLP or use it as a base. Our courses have attracted many coaches seeking to deepen their understanding of their profession.  Our trainer's third book is called 'How to Coach with NLP'. It's due to be published by Prentice Hall later this year.

Within the Human Resources profession, an understanding of NLP can help make the most out of investment in staff by working on beliefs as well as behaviours and by making learning sustainable.

NLP looks at human behaviour, and so has a wealth of tools for marketers.  NLP has been present in advertising and marketing communications, and indeed political campaigns, for many years. (Conversely, if you want to avoid having your buttons pushed without your consent, you need to know where they are.)
