Ecological in the NLP sense, in this case, not necessarily 'green'.

- How does the goal fit into the overall scheme of your life?
- Does it fit with your mission, identity, and values?
- Are you willing to accept the changes that you need to make to achieve the goal?
- Is it really your goal, or is it something you've inherited from a family member, or from school, or from a culture or religion that, on reflection, is no longer suitable for you?
- On a more down-to-earth level, can you afford the time and the money to pursue it?

Many well-formed and apparently "ecological" goals fall at one or more of these hurdles. NLP gives tools to explore outcomes and maximise their success.
