Robbie Steinhouse is a highly skilled NLP practitioner and coach.
A dynamic motivator, Robbie combines real-world commercial acumen with a humorous style and tools from NLP, transactional analysis and coaching. He teaches our NLP Essential Skills and NLP Practitioner courses, and works with companies ranging from large corporations to small entrepreneurial businesses.
Robbie Steinhouse trains and coaches internationally in his role as director of NLP School, offering accredited neuro linguistic programming training. He also heads up the Coaching Consultancy, a specialist provider of executive coaching.
Robbie's focus on coaching, NLP and the human dimension of business stems from his career creating and running businesses in recruitment, property and insurance - now run by an independent management team.
As these businesses grew, he found an ever-increasing need for more than just commercial skills, both for himself and his team: business is ultimately about developing people. He also found a bewildering range of help and models on offer - the material that he found (by far) the most useful was NLP, especially when linked to a coaching approach. His passion for the human dimension of business led him to give up his executive role and focus entirely on coaching and training in 2002.
He runs NLP Practitioner programmes and other courses in London, and has established NLP School as one of the UK's leading NLP providers.
Robbie combined his commercial acumen with his expertise in the psychology of business in his first book, 'Think Like an Entrepreneur,' in 2008. He believes that an entrepreneurial 'mind set' has a wider application than simply in business. Entrepreneurs tend to look for 'angles' - effective and unusual ways of creating opportunities or dealing with problems.
In 2010 Robbie published two books. 'Brilliant Decision Making', part of the 'Brilliant Business' series, covers the NLP principles and models underlying decision making.
'How to Coach with NLP' reveals how traditional coaching methods can be fused with general NLP 'attitudes' and specific NLP techniques to bring profound improvements in both personal and professional life.
Robbie is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC)® with the ICF (International Coaching Federation.) He is also an NLP University Certified Master Trainer, one of a small number worldwide to hold this qualification. His projects in 2012 include:
- delivering NLP training to NATO staff in Romania
- working in Paris as part of a College de Polytechnic team delivering an on-going leadership development programme for BNP Paribas.
- visiting Japan to deliver training at the NLP Institute of Japan
You can also catch him in central London, of course, as the trainer for our NLP Essential Skills and NLP Practitioner courses.
